Call of Duty Fans! It turns out Infinity Ward is interested in competitive developing CoD after all! No seriously, with all joking aside, a lot of competitive Call of Duty related news has rolled out today. One of the most notable being the upcoming patch for the game that is fully eSports related. From restricting Ghillie suits, tracker sights, danger close, and disable third-person spectating all from competitive play, to  fixing the broadcaster mode stability as well as adding a kill feed, many competitive CoD fans around the world are rejoicing from the news of this patch. But not only that, the long awaited LAN support, is also now being investigated by infinity ward as a possible addition on the Xbox One!

 

But it doesn’t end there, today the official announcement of the next Call of Duty World Championships was also rolled out today. The tournament will consist of the top 32 CoD teams from around the world, all competing for a whopping $1 million!. The event will be taking place in LA from March 28th-30th. It’s also probably important to note that the tournament will be played on Xbox One this time around, as well as casted on MLG.tv and Xbox Live. The official trailer is presented below.
