Hello everyone, and welcome to Welcome to World3Gaming.com. Today, I am very excited to share some major details regarding the return of W3G/W3X in 2014. For a while I have taken a considerable break from working on the in-development gaming organization and it’s developments, while mainly using the site to occasionally release eSports/Competitive Gaming related content and news. I will continue to focus on this section of content on the site in 2014, however on a much more consistent basis. Please read the following sections below regarding the new World 3 Gaming developments for 2014.
Competitive Gaming News Content
As stated above our new focus on providing competitive gaming/eSports content will in fact continue, however we will be looking to do this on a more consistent basis, and will become a main part of the online side of the organization. Expect to find the latest eSports league & tournament announcements, as well as community competitive gaming news, tournament results, and even player interviews all on the website. We will be establishing our very first team of writers who will help contribute to the journalism developments on the site. Frequent news publishing’s will be rolling out immediately, so please be sure to visit World3Gaming.com to read up on the latest developments and announcements within the competitive gaming community.
W3G/W3X Tournaments & Seasonal Leagues
In the past as a part of our W3X Tournament Season we have hosted a decent variety of multi-genre tournaments on various gaming community sites, such as 8WayRun, Smash Boards, FriendCodes, PokeCommunity, and more. Today I’m happy to announce that we will once again be bringing back Tournament hosting to W3G this Spring focusing solely on four titles. Two of which I can confirm today, are HearthStone: Heroes of WarCraft, and Pokemon X & Y. These are two very widely enjoyed newly released games that are currently being enjoyed both on a casual and competitive level, so we would like to cater to the new and growing audience these games have to offer. Tournament announcements for these titles will be rolled out this March and you can expect frequent tournaments featuring these titles, along with our other two soon to be announced titles, happening all the way up until the end of our 2014 Tournament Season. Details regarding the official ruleset and tournament format for these events will be revealed soon.
W3GN Media & Entertainment Developments
We will soon be making our return to Twitch.TV featuring our very own Streaming team that will provide a variety of competitive gaming and quality entertaining content to the viewers. We have begun seeking out aspiring individuals either seeking to break out into streaming, as well as experienced live-streamers to provide content for some of the widely known competitive gaming titles they know and love to play. These media outlets will be featured on the W3G website for viewing convenience, as well as announced whenever new content is lived and or updated. Both new Twitch.TV & YouTube content is in-development so please stay tuned for further announcements.
W3G 2014 Website Developments
Many changes will soon be making their way to the World3Gaming.com website to enhance viewer experience, as well as improving the overall home of the organization as a whole. We will soon be gathering a small team of Website devs who will occasionally be assigned to make adjustments to the site, and overtime help make in an even more overall better looking site. Website dev positions will be a paid position, and will be assigned weekly or monthly tasks based on their personal schedule. I am excited to announce that we will soon be re-launching the forums, but on a VBulliten platform on the site to create a more community experience for those interested in being apart and helping develop the W3X community. Please stay tuned to our social outlets, as well as website for all announcements regarding website developments as they roll out.
Overall I am looking forward to be actively working on W3G/W3X again this year, and I really hope to fulfill various developments goals, as well as expand our horizons and team even more. Please keep an eye out on World3Gaming.com for further announcements.
