It seems like the HearthStone tournament scene is now kicking up to speed with more and more bigger prize pool tournaments being announced, Blizzards new, fun, strategy filled, and a tad bit of randomness, CCG is on it’s way to becoming a popular eSport among many others.
Today TaKeTV announced a split invitational tournament that will feature games HeathStone: Heroes of WarCraft, and StarCraft II: Heart of the Swarm. These games will both evenly split a pot prize of 30k, making each tournament feature a prize pool of 15k. 16 players have been announced for the StarCraft II: Heart of the Swarm tournament, along with 8 announced players for the HearthStone: Heroes of WarCraft invitational. The tournament will take place March 7th – 9th, with both offline and online viewing opportunities for those who want to catch the heated competition.
