Earlier yesterday morning, Nintendo had rolled out a short comedic video featuring the Mega 64 crew which was centered around the Nintendo E3 announcements of 2014. While not too much was revealed aside, aside from the live digital viewing that will take place on June 10th at 9am, as well as daily live-streams coming from the company during E3, there was still one announcement revealed that many Smash players are stoked about.
Nintendo has announced that taking place at the Nokia Theater at E3in LA, a Smash Bros Invitational will be taking place. Alongside this, will be Smash Fests at Best-Buy throughout the entirety of E3. You will be able to visit select Best-Buy locations from around the country and have your first shot at playing the new Super Smash Bros games. While no word has been said as of yet regarding which players are “invited” to the invitational, the tournament will be live-streamed as well as open to public viewing.
