As many of you may already know by now, DreamHack will be making it’s return to Austin, Texas this year as their first stop in North America. DreamHack Austin 2016 marked the companies first ever North American DreamHack event, so it’s only fitting that they kick off their second North American run with a stop in Austin, Texas.
Several tournaments have already been announced to be taking place at this years DreamHack Austin, and Street Fighter V is one of them. Just like last years DreamHack Austin event, the Street Fighter V tournament which will be taking place will be a Capcom Pro Tour Premier Event. This years tournament will feature a prize pool of $15,000 and will take place throughout the span of DreamHack Austin from April 28th-30th.
The tournament will kick off Saturday morning at 10am CST, with the finals concluding Sunday afternoon. A full schedule for the event will become available as the event draws near.
Registration for the tournament is currently open now, so be sure to register as soon as possible to secure your spot in the tournament!
