Yesterday at E3 2016, during the final segment of the Xbox Daily Show; Microsoft’s Community Manager for Killer Instinct, Rukari Austin, announced some exciting news for Killer Instinct competitors around the world!
Killer Instinct Competition will be returning in full force this year, as Rukari announced the “KI Ultra Tour” which will be a series of both online and offline tournaments for the title, featuring a prize pool of $100,000 up for grabs!
This is exciting news for KI players, as many competitors have been worried that competitive support for the game would be dying down this year, but this does not seem to be the case!
Details are still a bit slim regarding the KI Ultra Tour, however, it has been said that we will receive more details about it later this Summer!
During Microsoft’s E3 2016 Press Conference, General RAAM, from Gears of War was also announced as playable now! So be sure to download him when you get the chance.
