The broadcast organization Beyond the Summit, known for their infamous DOTA 2 invitationals and tournaments, and even more recent Super Smash Bros. Melee, and CS:GO events – have revealed that they will be hosting a 16 player invitational for Dragon Ball Fighter Z in Los Angeles, California this June.  The event is set to be a 2-day, in house event featuring a prize pool of $10,000.

The event is titled “Summit of Power” and will in fact be taking place inside of the Summit House. While the official competitor roster for the event is yet to be determined, it is likely that the players will be chosen by either qualifying via events, chosen by BTS themselves, or even voted in by the fans. Either way, it will be interesting to see who will be competing in the invitational, as DBZF has already spawned some interesting rivalries.

Beyond the Summit’s “Summer of Power” will take place from June 9th-10th.
